We’re thrilled to announce that Oliver Lewis has joined Optima as our newest Senior Systems Engineering Consultant!
Oliver brings a wealth of expertise to the table, having worked across a wide range of defence projects. His journey began in the MBDA Systems Design graduate scheme, and from there, he made significant contributions to ground-based air defence, surface attack, and internal research programmes. Oliver’s passion lies in the early stages of the systems engineering lifecycle, where he collaborates with clients to identify challenges and craft innovative concept solutions.
His deep technical knowledge and end-to-end systems thinking approach make him a key asset for solving complex problems. Whether it’s navigating a project through the entire lifecycle or developing fresh, strategic solutions, Oliver is committed to delivering excellence.
Outside of work, Oliver is a man of diverse interests—he loves travelling, playing the guitar, and soaking in the culture at concerts and festivals. Oh, and he’s also learning Spanish in his spare time!
